Poop Scoop Week is a Dogs Trust initiative that takes place every year in conjunction with Local Authorities across the UK and Ireland. This year (2010) it will be held on the week beginning 26th July.
Every year, Dogs Trust urges dog owners to pick up after their dog and help clean up our public spaces. While the majority of dog owners are responsible and pick up after their dog, a careless few are still giving dogs a bad name.
Dogs Trust , the UK€’s largest dog welfare charity is now urging all dog owners to be responsible and where possible to €˜Grab it, Bag it, Bin it€” during National Poop Scoop Week. Cleaning up after your dog is simple and the only way of ensuring a summer free from the nuisance of pooch poop.
